I finally got around to reading “Kato’s War” by Andrew C. Broderick. I’ve been kind of behind on getting this done. I did have a few other books ahead of this one that I had promised reviews so, as I’ve said before, I’ll get to them as soon as possible. This book is interesting, but it’s not my typical kind of book. I don’t think there’s much military stuff in it, but so far it’s not been a bad read.
I did have a good correspondence with Michael Kan. He’s the author of “Remember the StarFighter” and he’s one of the authors that was so kind to send me a copy. I really liked his book. He writes very well. I asked him where he got the name “Arendi”. And, I got a typical sci-fi author’s response, he believes it came from “The Lord of the Rings” where one of Aragon’s great ancestors is named Elendil. That, according to Michael, translated to “Arendi” for his book. That’s the kind of stuff I like to hear from authors.
I’m changing a few things with this website. Most of it is cosmetic. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble still finding my reviews.
